Power of 100 Lake Minnetonka is a women's giving circle that meets quarterly. Each meeting has the potential to generate more that $10,000 for a local charity, In addition, we seek/have corporate partners who provide a quarterly match of our member donations.
Meetings are one hour and will be held four times per year. Each member or member team commits to donating $100 per meeting ($400 annually). At each meeting, three charities are randomly selected and the member who nominated the charity gives a five-minute presentation. One charity is chosen by member vote and each member donates $100 directly to the selcted charity.
It is SIMPLE... Four times a year, we meet and learn about deserving local non-profit charities.
It is MEANINGFUL... Your contributions have a significant impact on your community and the lives of others.
It is POWERFUL... Your $100 donation is multiplied by each member and our matching sponsors, which allows us to maximize our impact.
